Trailblazing: Active Transportation Summit - June 23
replace_Cyclists051922.jpg

There’s a good chance that in a few years Philadelphia might have the best trail network in the nation. Regional leaders will be working toward that goal at the upcoming Active Transportation Summit co-convened by the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission and the Pennsylvania Environmental Council. The Summit is scheduled for June 23, and will highlight our region’s growing trail network and bring together national leaders to demonstrate the connections between growing our trails, growing our economy, and improving our quality of life. Local visionaries will also provide updates on some of the most exciting projects happening in our region. The Summit will culminate with an exclusive tour of the Manayunk Bridge, which is being converted into a breathtaking multi-use trail ten stories over the Schuylkill River. The Summit is on June 23. Registration is open until June 21.
