How to Become a Classic Town

Classic Towns is a unique opportunity for towns that are looking to grow. The Classic Towns program helps promote towns to increase residential interest, build new businesses, and attract shoppers. Seasonal video blogs, monthly articles, daily social media spots, and photo contests are only some of the ways that quaint and wonderful towns get regular promotion through this program. Digital advertising, email blasts, and social media brought more than 106,000 people to the website in 2015!

“Collingswood jumped at the chance to participate in the program. Like many of the other participating towns, Collingswood has had a significant resurgence.” – Jim Maley, Mayor of Collingswood

You might be asking, what makes a town classic? It could be its diverse community, rich history, impressive school system, substantial growth, distinct small businesses, a combination of these elements, or something else entirely that qualifies a town for this program.
