Lansdale’s Public Library is a lively place with monthly events like discussion groups, story time, and movie nights.

Lansdale offers a balance of active, passive, scenic, and cultural opportunities.

Lansdale Borough’s park system comprises 21 parks covering more than 170 acres. Parents love Stony Creek Park with its playgrounds, fountains, and labyrinth in the summer. It also hosts ice-skating in the winter. For concerts and performances, many make their way to White’s Road Park and its outdoor amphitheater, while America’s pastime continues every summer at Memorial Park’s Weaver Field. Two community pools, ample hiking trails and wooded areas, plus courts and fields for tennis, basketball, football, soccer and other sports round out Lansdale’s lovely parks system.

Celebrating and preserving Lansdale’s past is also a passion for many residents. Events including Under the Lights Car Show, Bike Night, Lansdale Day, and TubaChristmas are traditional favorites, while new events like The Lansdale Farmers’ Market, First Fridays, and Founders Day celebrations are quickly becoming customs among Lansdale’s younger generations.

Residents in the mood for movies, music, and theater, will be pleased to know that these opportunities are all nearby.
