On the 2nd Saturday of every month, over 30 businesses on and around State Street stay open late as part of a free arts event.

Regular events, seasonal celebrations, and holiday happenings are a few of the many reasons to visit Media throughout the year.

Second Saturday celebrations are held on the second Saturday of each month when more than 30 businesses on and around State Street stay open and allow residents and visitors to enjoy the creations of local artists.

Spring features a number of events that include the Media Americana Roots Ramble and the Memorial Day Parade.

Summer is the busy season in Media. Some of its many traditions include the Art Exhibition and Craft Fair and the State Street Blues Stroll.

Fall favorites include the Fair Trade Live Concert on State Street, the Great Media Garage Sale, the Food & Craft Festival, and a Jazz Festival.

The winter season comes into swing when Santa arrives in town to kick off the Festival of Lights.

The Media Arts Council also provides year-round activities. The Delaware County Institute of Science is another favorite. It regularly hosts lectures and field trips focused on science and nature.
