Nestled along the Delaware River, New Hope is a destination for tourists, historians, antique collectors, theater patrons, and art aficionados.

During the day, visitors participate in its recreational opportunities, shop its specialty stores and art galleries, and tour its historic attractions including the Parry Mansion, the Ferry Landing, New Hope Mills, and the Vansant House. Built in 1743, the Vansant House is the oldest home in New Hope. Walking tours of historic New Hope are available through the New Hope Historical Society.

Upon evening’s arrival, visitors venture to one of New Hope’s many exceptional eateries and bars. Ranging from five-star bistros to friendly brewpubs, New Hope’s culinary offering is sure to satisfy even the most sophisticated palates.

Before making their way to one of the Borough’s bed and breakfasts, visitors can stop to enjoy a performance by the Concordia Chamber Players in neighboring Solebury Township or take in a show at the Bucks County Playhouse. Originally the Parry gristmill, the property was purchased by a group of artists in 1939 and transformed into a modern theater that offers quality musicals and dramas, as well as a children’s theater.

New Hope also hosts a number of events throughout the year including seasonal celebrations, juried arts festivals, and restaurant weeks.
