Major sporting events, community events, and a diverse array of entertainment and dining options are some of the many reasons people make their way to this community.

The community's main draw is the Univest Grand Prix. Held in early-September, this three-day bike competition brings more than 150 international professional riders to Souderton for a 100 mile race that culminates in an exciting sprint to the finish with 11 final laps in town. The community takes on a festival atmosphere with food and fun for the whole family.

The annual Soapbox Derby is another attraction. Occurring every June, more than 200 spectators line Main Street for this weekend event. They enjoy friendly competition while engaging with this close-knit community.

One destination that always attracts visitors is Asher's Chocolate Factory. Factory tours are available and a retail store offers the finest in handcrafted chocolates. After eating dessert first, visitors often find themselves at one of the community's many restaurants to sample international flavors or experience innovative American cuisine. Of course the best way to end any evening is by taking in a show at the Montgomery Theater, where they are "dedicated to bringing new life to old tales and giving age and wisdom to new ones." Its season includes spectacular performances of children's theater as well as cherished classics.

Finally, no trip to this community is complete without a stop at the Indian Valley Farmers' Market. This eight-year old market is located in the newly renovated Marketplace at Telford Station and features locally grown and produced food and handmade quality crafts. Open from the first weekend in July through mid-October, the market features weekly activities for families and a chance to mingle with residents from the surrounding communities.
