The village of Wayne is one of the most venerable on the Main Line. Though smaller than most, its intimacy allows for a genuine sense of community.

Given the Main Line's historic reputation as a summer retreat for prominent Philadelphians as well as its working class roots, Wayne with its environs offers an astonishing mix of architecture. Ranging from storied estates to modern condominiums, many of its historic homes are built of stone or brick and most feature decorative elements including towers and gables. Newer homes, however, are no less impressive. Trees surround some, while others are within walking distance of downtown Wayne. No matter their age or location, they all continue to increase in value.

But what exactly is it that makes life in Wayne so wonderful? Many things. Wayne's history and heritage very much inform its values and culture. It is a community of ethnic, cultural, and economic diversity; a friendly village offering access to some of the finest educational institutions in the country; and a place with all the amenities and opportunities anyone would need to feel at home.
